Solutions

Gravifloat platforms are re-deployable, modularised LNG terminals, designed for near-shore installation. The floatable modules offer high versatility and can be flexibly configured for site-specific requirements as a single unit or connected to other units. Gravifloat can be configured to handle other products such as ethane, LPG, crude oil, diesel or other liquid products.

Applications of Gravifloat design:

Gravifloat LNG Export Terminal (Liquefaction)

LNG Export Terminal (Liquefaction)

The Gravifloat structure is fixed to the seabed of 8 to 20 metres water depth, allowing full port capabilities. It can be designed for LNG export, where raw gas from the wellhead or gas pipeline can be routed to the Gas Treatment module, followed by the Liquefaction module of the Gravifloat structure.

Gravifloat LNG RECEIVING TERMINAL (REGASIFICATION)

LNG Receiving Terminal (Regasification)

Gravifloat topsides can also be designed for re-gasification. The re-gasification terminal will house the re-gasification skid, loading arms, metering skid and Gravifloat’s internal hull storage of standard capacity: 30,000cbm, 60,000cbm or 85,000-90,000cbm.

Gravifloat SMALL-ISLAND POWER PLANT

Integrated LNG to Power

Gravifloat can be designed as an integrated 3-in-1 solution for near-shore LNG receiving; LNG storage and regasification; and power generation for capacities from 30-400MW of power.

Gravifloat BUNKERING AND DISTRIBUTION

LNG Bunkering Terminal

Gravifloat LNG bunkering modules can be installed in the open sea with multiple quay sides away from busy port traffic.
