Jurong Shipyard On Track to Deliver Second High-performance Jack-up Drilling Rig

Singapore, March 8, 2008: Jurong Shipyard, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine, is on track to deliver PetroJack II, its second high-performance deep-drilling offshore jack-up rig to PetroJack ASA, a subsidiary of leading Norwegian energy group Larsen Oil & Gas, following the rig’s naming ceremony on March 8, 2008.

The jack-up rig was christened PetroJack II by Mrs Sopee Nordaas, wife of Mr Martin Nordaas, Managing Director of Larsen Oil & Gas (Singapore) and Project Director of PetroJack ASA, in a ceremony held in Jurong Shipyard attended by key representatives and stakeholders from both companies.
